A plain-language screener guides appellants to the right appeal path for their situation, while guided digital forms make it easier to understand what information is needed, complete the process with confidence, and submit an appeal online.

Greater visibility takes the guesswork out of what happens after an appeal is submitted. A centralized dashboard brings active appeals together in one place, while appeal details and status tracking help appellants understand where their case stands, follow its progress, and know what comes next.
Upload what’s needed, when it’s needed
Providing additional information no longer has to happen outside the digital experience. Secure document uploads allow appellants to submit supporting materials and respond to requests for information directly through the portal, reducing disconnected interactions and helping keep appeals moving forward.

The portal runs on a secure, scalable AWS foundation designed to meet the demands of a federal digital service. Accessibility, responsive desktop and mobile experiences, Spanish-language support, automated deployment, security, and performance testing were integrated throughout development—creating a resilient platform that can evolve alongside CMS and its users.
